Calgary Washbrooks

 We had an absolutely gorgeous day today.   The temperature reached 31 and the sun was awesome.  We celebrated the weather with the kiddie pool.  This picture of the girls was taken at 6pm!

 Practicing his surfing skills...  (don't tell him, but he is riding it backwards!) We have been having amazing weather!

 Milo is all about Thomas the Train and his friends right now. It is the only activity that he will sit down and focus on for any period of time. He especially loves to crash the trains on the bridge. Where's Milo?

We went to the family dance at the girls' school tonight. There was a DJ, glow necklaces and a photo booth. The girls were very excited, but Milo was the most excited.   He danced continuously for an hour and a half!

We met Emmet before the free screening of the Lego movie.

 We had to do some repair work on the fence after a big wind storm.  The girls helped me make a Kringle for Easter breakfast. Kaeli grated and juiced the lemons and orange.  They loved that we used part of a flower in the bread - saffron.  Anna adds a final touch.

We dyed eggs using cabbage, onion skins, blackberries and tumeric this year. Evelyn had to wear her bunny costume while we ran errands yesterday. She did score a free egg from the chocolate shop! and insisted on ones for her sisters too (they were at dancing at the time).
